Martha Ryan is an Artist, Poet, Photographer, Creative Specialist, Cacao Practitioner & Published Co-Author; passionate about empowering people to expand into their authentic, heartfelt nature through the expression of holistic creativity.
With a creative background in facilitating self-development courses while working in photography, writing, makeup education, web design and event facilitation for yoga, cacao, art and wellbeing, Martha weaves together practical, helpful tools and inspirational guidance to help people expand into their true selves.
Inspired by the life-cycle of transformation and the therapeutic gateway of creativity as The Portal of self actualization, Martha's approach is grounded in encouraging self-expression, cultivating community and honouring life’s seasonal, mysterious nature.

Working collaboratively inside the framework of our container, The Portal aims to 'do as it says on the tin' by acting as an encouraging, creative catalyst for your greatest ambitions, dreams and aspirations to actualize in the material world.
Thanks to regular accountability, community support and insightful lessons and sessions on shifting seasonal topics such as self-belief, trust in creativity and the unseen forces that support us, The Portal aims to act as a revered threshold whereby you can bring all aspects of yourself to its altar; the good, the bad and the ugly.

2 Live Zoom sessions every month
We balance the yin with the yang by blending ceremony with the board-room. Our sessions are a mixture of inspirational, inward time to 'fill our cups' and grounded, down-to-earth practical conversations and topics to discuss that open us for creative growth, collaboration, expansion and a healthy stretching of our upper limits.

Weekly, Monthly & Seasonal Challenges
Between live sessions, we will work through our creative projects independently under overarching themes or ideas that broaden the horizons of our creativity. Both a focus of reflection during our live-calls and an opportunity to integrate when laptops are down; these will hold us to experience new areas of growth.

Community Chat Group
Our community chat group acts as the everyday home to share ideas, inspiration, encouragement and support to other participants; like a creative cheerleader in your pocket. While the community remains small, this will be facilitated over Whatsapp. If the community grows in size, a different platform would be used.

Don't worry if you can't make the live sessions. In The Portal, you'll receive access to a specifically culminated list of artistic resources; full of helpful books, courses, podcasts, projects and articles - all designed to maximize your creative, personal and professional growth. The video library will continue to be added to, including replays.

Cacao facilitates creative growth and harmonious living by gently opening the heart and thus inviting us into deeper connection with our most authentic, innately capable selves.
Full of nutrients and with the ability to fuel our bodies with feel-good hormones like dopamine, serotonin, even PEA (the body's natural ecstasy) and anandamide (the bliss chemical), cacao acts as a gentle, nurturing accompaniment that continuously aligns our focus with the heart of our personal missions; both on and offline.
Each month, we'll be guided through a live, loving cacao ceremony that returns us to ourselves; our missions, our passion-projects and our unique stamp in the world - by reminding us of our 'why'. It is a gentle, loving eye that encourages our endeavours remain authentic, in alignment to who we uniquely are and deeply from the ever-giving heart, soul and spirit.
From there, we are encouraged to go and explore life with cacao by our side; for writing practices, movement, artistic pursuits or simply personal, professional and spiritual growth.
